New! Custom Notifications from the Temp Manager Dashboard to the WorkTracker timesheet app
You can now broadcast notifications to your workforce directly through the WorkTracker staff clock in app – all set up from the Employees section of your Temp Manager dashboard.
This new feature allows you as the authorised administrator to create short messages for chosen employees. These can be reminders concerning workforce planning, submitting signed timesheets, instructions to check in with a manager, information regarding new announcements or compliance administration etc. or any other relevant update that helps to prepare staff before they start a shift.
Once sent, the Employee Notification appears within the WorkTracker employee time tracking app and – if enabled on the user’s device – also triggers as a push notification. This ensures visibility whether or not the employee has opened the app.
There’s also the option to include an Article – a longer text section that opens when a notification is tapped. This is ideal for outlining key procedures, introducing location-specific contacts, or including shift-specific instructions, without relying on emails or calls that might be missed.
You’re in full control of the message content and who it reaches. Notifications can be filtered and sent by employee, group, or role, and can be edited or removed if plans change.
It’s a flexible way to keep staff informed and reduce needless back-and-forth communication, all within the tools you already use.
